Janyška "Praga" possibly late 1930s / 1940s. This hat is from my May 2016 Czech find. Very unique hats to say the least.

Changed out the front brake pads on my bike this morning as I have a bit of a ride planned for the afternoon.

Alan, Great to see this one! It was part of my July 2015 Czech find. Definitely spartan but great style. KAMI / Karel Misík Wool Hats / Stumps (then and now).

Today....from my front porch throne, shivering uncontrollably, it’s 52 deg, and hating winter, oh it’s spring.
It’s a Dobbs Forty from oh i guess the Fortys.
I had to get this one out just to keep me from purchasing the gorgeous Twenty for sale in the classifieds. Sad and happy but it worked.

Wearing my most recent conversion. This Granite Gray Stagecoach was gifted to me by a fellow Lounger. It started out as a 6 7/8 and I blocked it up to a 7 1/4 to fit me. I have more in the 'Conversion Corral'. It sports a tall straight crown with a 2 3/4 snap brim and a brushed Longhair finish...

When we get to see New England in The Fall, I'm going to relieve you of that fine lid. My Henley blazer goes well with a contrasting straw in summer, but your titfer, (cockney rhyming slang, titfer= tit for tat, hat,) would set my blazer off a treat.

Alan, Thanks! No I found the photos online. Karl Misik also took over O.F. Hess from his uncle. Both were nationalized as Tonak after WWII. More details here.

I like it ! Don't ya just love when you have a hat that can display more than one color. It's like having several hats in one. Looks good on you.
