Dunno if you have enough brim to do this big a curl, but the crease and a pencil curl might be something to shoot for. A true Borsalino Western.

That's a nice one! Definitely a nice one! I don't have enough brim to make mine look look that. Although, I've also been considering doing something similar to this shorter brimmed Western that Gregory Peck wore in the 1948 movie, "Yellow Sky". His hat had a kettle curl in this movie. My crown would be much straigher, though...

Good Monday morning. Today, a project hat. This is/was my first D'Aquino, which I referred to as Mark I. Always liked the color combo, but Ms. Luisa made this with too much taper for my tastes. I had tried reshaping, but still didn't wear it much because of it. So last weekend, I deconstructed it, and stretched it over a #52 and let it learn it's new ways for a week. Unfortunately, I lost some crown height to overcome the taper. What was once nearly a 6" crown is now 5 3/8" at the most. I had to remove quite a bit of glue from the D'Aquino liner installation, as well.

Yesterday, I took it off the block and rebuilt it, putting a new Bond sweatband in and reinstalling the original ribbon. I also installed a wind trolley. I wish it had a bit more crown, but I like this much better than before. Hopefully, that means I'll wear it more.

Open crown.

Very fine looking Borsalino Daniele. I would expect "Albino" to be stark white. This is a nice gray color?

Malrov Monday for me. I really like the older Malrovs. They have a particularly funky style.

It is a classic looking fedora Adrian. Like the color.

Nice looking hat now. I agree about a taper in the crown, just does not suit me. This is a nice save, and great colors.

Knox homburg for Sunday

This is a sweet hat. Stars in both the liner and sweat logos put in in the 40s, which seems to be the time frame for these Stetsons with pugs

Love that look on a fedora. The liner and sweat on this one are pristine. Super nice Richard.

Michele, I was a little surprised when I had read the name of the color, but as you know in Borsalino they were very "creative" with colors and with their names. It is a very pale beige that absorbs the colours on the things around. The felt is thin a malleable, a mid seson hat

Buon giorno Dr. Max in your wizard potions for wearing every hats have you changed the ribbon and trim of the brim into this hat? I am curious because some hats, oversized or undersized, have strange combinations and tend to be very similar in their shape. Try to tell Ignacio to keep the initial shapes even if the resize game is too risky. Very personal opinion. A little advice to get better pictures, there is in your phone a chance to take pictures directly from the screen, so the bow will be on the left and the hat will have its right orientation;)
