Thanks, Steve. I don't wear it enough as it is just a nudge tight (I need to give it that nudge).Great shape and colour, Stefan. It looks so good on you.

Lovely hat, Max. A good brushing and a little steam is often enough to wake up a good hat and shine again. This Knox Twenty arrived relatively unscathed from its squishing experience. Just a little steam got it back into shape.
Getting ready to go to Ignacio, my hatter, with some of the others.
The last pic is of the only Knox Foxhound I have so far.

Good shape to that hat, Michael. Not sure about the ribbon I must admit.2.5" of rain in the last two days and still coming down. I guess I'll find out if this Stetson 5X takes to rain like a duck to water.

I'm guessing, but only guessing, a '70s hat

Will be testing the hat and this Woolrich slicker for weatherproofness in a bit when I get out on the bike.

Thanks, Mike. Still one of the finest felts I own.One of my favorites Stefan. Pastry rules!
Perfect shade of gray Bob. Love this one.
Oh yes! The Polar! Should be a great weekend!
Oooooh! Pictures needed of that Borso Tux Steve! The general consensus about the Lord's Hat is that they are hard to define. I like to think they were a hat for the higher born to wear as a casual, no brim detail, simple and clean. One of my favorite interesting styles. I just figured out that I now have several...oooops! They just kind of appeared in my collection...
Super cool Knox Max. But that wind trolley button is the best thing I'll see all day!
Very well equipped Michael. We get a lot of rain here in the PNW, but damn...2.5" It is nice to see this 70s Last Drop get some love.
I live vicariously through you Bowen. Can't wait to hear your excitement and rendition of Oh Canada. You have to sing the French verse too though. I know some folks in BC Canada that refuse to sing the French, they hate it.
That certainly is a boss! Well worth chasing a delivery truck for, Bowen!View attachment 138774 View attachment 138775 View attachment 138776 View attachment 138777 Greetings All:
Back again, lighting that cigar.
All i can say is “Oh My Gosh”!!
Nutria with a Boss complex!!
Be well. Bowen
Very nice colour, Brent. The combination with the ribbon and brim binding works great.Agnoulita thin ribbon in what they call “latte.”

Beautiful hat, Ken, and well worth saving. Sometimes the leather of the sweat just gets separated from the reed. Usually the sweat gets repaired or replaced before it's gone completely though.Kickin' back now with a shot of CatDaddy moonshine. Trying to figure out this weird sweatband in my recent vtg Mr. Disney. The band is clear plastic attached to a thin leather band. Very odd??? The felt is beautiful, sooooo light and thin and shapes easily without steam. 3" brim & 4 1/2" crown

O my, that has me gasping for breath!Hey everyone!
Borsalino Colombo on a breezy afternoon.
Have a great day!

A stunner!Noticed a lot of great Stetson Playboys in the last few days.So here's the Playboy that I got in a trade with Moon.
I like that Hanover Square more and more. Great hat.Been missing the Polar, Matt. Great hat
Thanks Wyldkarma. The Filson will be coming out a lot for the next several months. I wore the Stetson out in the rain on my bicycle and now the crown is a soft as a bunnies tail. Might be a comment on what it's made out of. The pinch tightened up nicely.
Your new Disney looks to be a beautiful piece of felt.

A super nice color on the Playboy, Dogman. Lovely hat.
Got home from the bike ride after a few detours. The trail is flooded in a number of areas. The river is over flood stage now. Got home and made some turkey curry and now I'm relaxing under the Hanover Square and vegging.

have a fine Saturday night,

Lovely hat, Doug, I like these ribbed ribbons a lot. And nice pic too.We went to see a movie for a "date." Not bad, called A Simple Favor.
I wore my 40s Marathon and Sandra wore her Outback Trading Company oilskin rain hat.

Oh gawd, just shoot me now... We are in full remodel mode on our house. The wife is decision challenged at best, and we are off to the "big city" to pick out tile and appliances. I just follow behind and agree...
A good hat for this project is the NW Hats Brent OR Clone refurb. Mike cut the brim width down just a bit to get rid of some moth nibbles and put a whip stitch on for good measure. I can gaze at this detail while nodding in approval of all the different tile choices.

Very cool, Matt. Love the look of this one. Great history lesson to boot. Thanks to all for the kind words about THE POLAR.
Today... a new-to-me hat.
I have no idea who made the body for this Tom Campbell "Smile" Hat Shops homburg. It is exceptional and on par with the best hats in my bunch.
I've never seen a hat with elements that scream art deco like this hat.
Tom Campbell's has a fascinating story, too. It engaged in incredibly creative marketing. Because of it's billboard that was there, a hill overlooking Calgary remains named for the establishment.
Happy Sunday!
Excellence!Dobbs on another wet day.

Or you can just stare at your hat: wouldn't get boring for the first three days at least!Oh gawd, just shoot me now... We are in full remodel mode on our house. Apologies for my intermittent posting. My days are usually busy, but the pace has picked up of late. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it!
Yesterday I got home long enough to head out for a dog walk. A modern Gannon with gills was a perfect hat.
This morning I headed out very early for work in a Best Dressed Head cap.
I went home to walk our dog in another cap, A Cordova Cap. I will shower, change clothes, eat and head out again in the next 30 minutes. Inevitably I will make time to stop for coffee.
Best, Eric -
Bellisimo!Wearing my new to me Borsalino today. Twenties or thirties, Daniele said.
