Looked good enough to me [emoji4]Spennende! Fortell meg når du kommer til nord og vi har en avtale. (I hope that makes some sense - my Norwegian is quite poor for the moment )

Hey, Charlie! I hope you are well! I sent you a couple of PMs.Beautiful lid, Max.
With the collection you now have, you know handling them with love is important. I mention this on behalf of the hats!! That crown pinch on top will become fatigued, weakened, and then a tear-like hole can develop. We're all learning something new every day, if we care to!

True. We see enough of it in every direction we look! We needed something to stick out.Good thing the Netherland's flag doesn't have green in it.

That hat was made for you, Brent (well, it was, but you know what I mean). That brim curve is just awesome.Phoenix Arizona:

Superb hat, marvellous blazer, splendid tie!The heatwave that's been bothering large portions of Europe has hardly touched our litlle corner. So felt weather again today (jay!). Cavanagh.

Stefan, I love summer, sun, and heat, but would almost gladly give it up to wear those great felts, not to mention those ties and jackets, my friend. The heatwave that's been bothering large portions of Europe has hardly touched our litlle corner. So felt weather again today (jay!). Cavanagh.

Wide brimmed bowlers, who'd have thought an Englishman would like them? Great look, Jeff.Buckaroo whisky derby. This is a favorite of mine.

I often hold the front of the crown, but with great care.NOT caused by wearing, Grasshopper, but by holding the felt crown at the pinch. It doesn't take long. In the movies of the day when most people wore hats, we often see guys grab and hold a hat by the crown pinch. That's because back then people replaced hats regularly, and there were hatters on every corner. No longer the case, and those that know almost always hold the brim.

Super look, Stefan. Great looking Cavanaugh. Aren't you lucky on the weather. Around 90 here, and humid. The heatwave that's been bothering large portions of Europe has hardly touched our litlle corner. So felt weather again today (jay!). Cavanagh.

Like when you ash your cigar in some asshole's drink?Okay, I understood it was about grabbing and holding the hat at the pinch.
I admit I tend to do that as well sometimes; but very very gently
I think felt damage depends more on how "sharp" or "pointy" the pinch is made, where exactly you grab it and how much pressure you apply.
Of course never touching the pinch would be fool proof, but hey ... sometimes it's just too convenient and looks cool
I do agree to being extra cautious with a "unicorn" felt or delicate straw panama.
