I've been meaning to wear my Astor, but I kept forgetting.
Funny how in the sunlight the topside looks so green and the underside looks so blue, even in person.

Beautiful lid, Max.
With the collection you now have, you know handling them with love is important. I mention this on behalf of the hats!! That crown pinch on top will become fatigued, weakened, and then a tear-like hole can develop. We're all learning something new every day, if we care to!

By the great amount of hats in Max's collection (same goes for the most of us here), the actuall head-time for each individual hat is so low it is very unlikely you will ever experience fatigued and weakend felt caused by a few hours of wearing :)

I'm new here and having a little trouble navigating, but I recently bought a Bentley hat and cannot find any info. Looks like a well made hat. Would send a pic but I have to reduce it first. Looks to be a fur felt fedora with leather sb and satin liner. Anyone have one?

Welcome to the lounge, Andrew. I'm not familiar with Bentley hats other than the Stetson Bentley straw. A quick search produced nothing on TFL. There is an ask a question get an answer thread at the top of the hats pages. You may try posting your question there and see what responses come.

Simplest way to search is using Google. When making your query, simply end it with fedora lounge.

Maintaining our mighty magnificent Milan Mondays, men! Stetson Milan, circa 1960... Puggery was my grandfather's, taken from his root beer colored Champ Milan from the late 1940s..

Super Milan, but the pug with its history is the top of the billing. Cool combination, too.

Andrew, try sending photos via your smart phone/iPhone via the Fedora Lounge on Tapatalk. It's a pitta to send them via computer. At least, that's my experience.

NOT caused by wearing, Grasshopper, but by holding the felt crown at the pinch. It doesn't take long. In the movies of the day when most people wore hats, we often see guys grab and hold a hat by the crown pinch. That's because back then people replaced hats regularly, and there were hatters on every corner. No longer the case, and those that know almost always hold the brim.
