Thanks Red. During the morning it was actually cool enough to add the Irish tweed jacket to the mix. By afternoon the sweater was more than ample. Super looking XV today.

Thanks Perry. You have a great hat and shirt combo going on today.
The coat has a lot of wear, but I couldn't pass it up because of this back

I've been wanting to find something with this multiply pleated back as a study piece for a long time.

Thanks,
MIchael
Ahh, that ups the ante Michael!
Thanks Mike and Stefan.

Thank you, Doug.

This is the top. It has the same type of brim treatment as Matt's Vita Felt above. Wider binding on the bottom than the top, with the stitching visible on top.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Somewhere I remember there's a name for that type of brim treatment...?

The hat is cool, Michael, but I love that coat.
Thanks Stefan. I thought the coat was a good find, even if it is in a rather well worn condition. Great looking 'burg for you yesterday (or was it today?). i still lack in that dept. There is a nice St Regis here locally, but unfortunately it's not my size.

I grabbed it off of eBay during the summer. Kind of a tapered crown, but it is at least brown, they all it "Cognac". View attachment 137578 View attachment 137579
Love that color, Red. Sweet find.

Heading up to Portland for class today. A light weight felt should brave the cooler morning and warmer afternoon. My grab and go of late, the Lee's of London dark blue with a whipstich conversion from NW Hats. It has become one of my favorites.

I can see why it's a grab and go. Great looking hat.

Classic brim curl on that Borsalino Stefan, love the Gulaela color too.

The details on this Twenty are similar to the Gay Prince model by Dobbs, bold stitching and great lines. Interesting look without the model name in the sweat. Nice one Christophe.

Sometimes, you just need to wear a black hat. Now you will have a choice.

Dig this one Jim. That liner sure is a looker!

It sure makes for a nice story with the dual ownership of a hat. I picture a "used car" hat shop, low miles, one owner!

Great crown on that Stetson Perry. Super cool colors on that shirt!

Gorgeous colors on that Whippet Richard. I wonder what the "SCC Marketing" on the mfg tag is all about?

Oh now you are just showing off! An overcoat months ahead of everyone else, really?:D;) My Biltmore brown derby is from this Hat's Meow shop. Cool name. Sure like the ribbon treatment on this one.
Definitely! Two choices now with the Borsa conversion I'm doing!

@Frunobulax "made" me buy this. It came yesterday.
He and I both thought it was a homburg from the pics on the eBay. It ain't.
