Other things kept me busy all day yesterday, so a day late here are the hats of last week.

You can never go wrong with a Stratoliner, I love it.
You got a mention yesterday Stefan. Tina had noticed your Sunday omission. At the moment the lady has much time on her hands. She is recovering from surgery, a heart ablation. Look it up, it's heart surgery from within. Now she has to rest, I tried to get her to post on here. "Oh, no, no, no. She said

So, while the lady recovers, I am cook, bottle washer and taxi driver. I have been running her around in the car. She was asked to have all make up removed before surgery, today I ran her to that lady place where women get their nails "done." The reaction to my hat and shoes in the supermarket and elsewhere has been classic.

Great lineup as always.
Very jealous of all the felt hats on here recently. I snuck one onto my head in the evening after rain from the typhoon had cooled things down a bit, but now that’s passed, we’re back into the mid 30s (low to mid 90s F) and still humid and sticky.

Thank you, Robert. My limited experience with heart problems is that the surgery itself isn't the problem as such, but the body needing to adjust to the new circumstances and especially the medicines one receives after the procedure. You're looking excellent as usual, but it would be fitting in your new capacity to go for a driving cap and have the lady ride in the back!

Thanks, Gary. It's somewhere in the mid-twenties over here with an occasional day closer to thirty. I could wear straws, but I only have a few on hand and would have to do some deep digging to find the others. Easier to just pick a felt. I don't envy you with those temperatures.

You are quite knowledgeable Stefan. The lady's heart is still strong and good, but the electrical pulse is out of sync, causing her chronic fatigue. Her surgery has repaired all that.

Your Stratoliner has inspired me. Esther made this hat, she dubbed it
Strat-o-like, the name has stuck.

I can't give the lady a chauffeur in a driver's cap, but I can transport her in style.

Last week I was on Ebay and saw this nice old Homberg for sale for cheap (35.00). The seller said it was a Stetson but only one pic of the hat from a side view so I asked for a view of the inside. I saw a nice old hat in a brand I had never heard of before so I offered 25.00 and bought myself a hat ! Still haven't found much information on this one so if any of y'all know what I got here please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Nice hat. It's an His Excellency Worlds Premier hat, but i think you read that yourself either hahaha. I've never seen one before, maybe someone else?

Nice find Tim. It kinda is giving me Dalton vibes. Jim @Frunobulax might be able to say if I’m way off base.

Going to be a dull, dreary, and possible damp day... Lets brighten it up a bit to start out.

The Knox 15 got a good bath, new sweatband and liner yesterday. It deserved some outdoor time today. The old leather sweatband was totally rotted, but the embossed Knox15 logo was good enough to save and affix to the new blank liner. Pretty happy with how it turned out

That hat was, indeed, made by Dalton. There are a couple of examples on the FL. I have one that has Dalton markings and is labeled "His Excellency by Dalton." There is at least one, if not two, on the FL that have your markings. Take a look through the "Going Atomic with Dalton" thread and you should find them (at least mine). Please add yours to the thread, as well.
