You just might be the first to sport a cape for this thread. My winter-time “hanging around the house garb” can be a bit silly but also a lot of fun. It includes this great silk-lined opera cape that looks very retro under my new-to-me Dobbs courtesy of @BobHufford.
This cape should probably be filed under “items worn but not outside of the house.”
The Dobbs, on the other hand, will probably see a lot of head time out and about.

Love the ribbon and bow treatment, Randall.
Wow—those colors in natural light! That’s one of my favorite combos ever.A new-to-me Dobbs that came courtesy of @BobHufford.
I posted about this one earlier today but the post didn’t have the right vibe for this thread. Here’s a second go at it.
This guy is one size too small and it’s noticeable. Even though I can make this work, I believe it will be my last purchase in this size.
Happy weekend friends.

Thanks. We used to get wood ducks and turkey there, but we now have a Pyrenees who keeps everything away.Nice Dobbs!
And I hope you have a shotgun ready. There may be a game bird up one of them trees!

Just wow! Those old hats simply, or maybe not simply, had more flare and quality.J. Hückel´s Söhne Standard "Loden" possibly late 1920s. This one is from my 2016 NOS Czech find.
