Italian/Borsalino week day Two
Borsalino Marque Grand Luxe

Some nice Borsa's above! This hat looks great on you, Joe!
I'm a fan of the snapped up brim: open hands, nothing to hide.

Fritz Hückel Hutmacher "Zephyr Seal Velour" probably mid 1950s

Wow, what a hat.
You, sir, are under dressed ; )

Out for a walkabout this evening in a vintage 30's Brock.

Cheers, Eric -
Eric, you always post wonderful hats, and sometimes it is hard for me to keep up and comment on them, but I had to chime in on this, Brock. What a unique and cool-looking hat!

No theme this week, just some that were sitting on top the stack.

Thanks, Stefan. Yes, the Madrid JJ Hat Center house brand is one of those Spanish-made hats. A pretty well constructed modern production hat with a decent quality felt.
Your current hat barrage, as usual, is great. My favorites are the Mossant, Echter, and the Borsalinos; also, I have to say you do look the part in those American westerns.

Hey Michael. You were wearing several favorites this week: The Golden Pheasant Homburg, The Hanover Square, and this Borsalino. I always enjoy seeing them. Golden Pheasant Homies are hard to find. I also had to call out the leather trench! That's a boss coat. I take it that it is of 1970's vintage?

The Cobalto Borsalino Genova has been my go-to hat all week. My other hats are starting to get lonely. LOL

What a fantastic looking go-to hat, Dave.

Not much hat wearing in the last couple of days as I thought it would be a good idea to smash a toe. I grabbed a light jacket and this hat as I hobbled out to see why the dogs were not coming back in.

1930s Stetson Special.

Did the dogs finally come home? That 30's Stetson is fabulous and indeed special! Is it black or Blue? I also really liked that Portis you were sporting the other day. Nice lines and a very stylish ribbon.

Fritz Hückel Hutmacher "Zephyr Seal Velour" probably mid 1950s. This hat was made for the American Market. Hückel Weilheim probably couldn't use just Hückel because Tonak had the rights to the trademark.

Steve! That Zephyr Seal Velour is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. The hat's shape, luscious finish, opulent ribbon with fancy pleats add up to one fantastic fedora. You can certainly find them.

That's a nice looking hat, Reggie. Great color and a fine looking felt.

Thanks Reggie. Some of my favorites for sure. I found the Golden Pheasant at the local Goodwill a few years back, right before they went to selling all the hats online. The day after I got it they had two Biltmore milan homburgs. Might have been the last hats I found there, except for the Halloween specials. I do think the leather coat is from the 70s. It's a Bert Paley. I think he may have lived in your neck of the woods and commuted to New York for his business.

I've loved that one since you acquired it, Bob. Stylin'!

That's a beauty, Bob. Sorry to hear about your toe.

Wonderful hat Bob. Hope the toe feels better

That's a real beauty, Bob.

That’s a nice one @BobHufford.

Ouch! Without going into great detail, let's just say I sympathize. Super Stetson Special, BTW.

Thanks gents! The Stetson Special is dark blue and the dogs are safe and sound. The toe feels better (but looks worse). Hope everyone has a great hat-wearin' weekend!

Today...it’s yesterday’s older brother with his own attitude. He doesn’t say “been there, done that, got the T-shirt”, he says “T-shirts weren’t invented then“.
Stetson Boss Raw Edge Fray sweat.
One of the lowest Lot numbers i’ve seen around here and the most obliging felt because it probably has been there, done that.
Be well and safe.

That's a pretty sweet Borsalino too! It looks just right.

I like that Chocolate V.S. a lot, Scooter. It has a commanding but relaxed presence.

Jonesy, I am totally digging the felts and the leather jackets. You need to come east and catch a cool breeze in those garments as I need to go west and catch a few waves!
