A two hat day today. Huber Velvet and a woolie Beanie my eldest daughter just knitted for me.
I think I'll stick to headwear with brims from now on. Fez zes being the exception

In the garden of my office I thought about wearing an antique Barbisio sold at Max Eckard shop in Berlin

The hat probably survived the Second World War
Lobbia Barbisio - Rex black felt of exquisite workmanship and super elegant finishes

No date printed on the back of the sweatban, alas!

There is only a tiny print that barely reads anything, but it's not a date. The hat arrived, some months ago, from Germany practically new, despite its age.

That is one great looking Dalton, Randall. I particularly like how the colour of the brim binding contrasts and highlights the dove grey of the felt. What colour is the binding? Looks a kind of peach colour on my screen.

Thank you Steve. I was more than a little worried that if I fell in the leaves they’d never find me, though.

I guess the photo makes it look that way, because in the real it’s a nice color of gold. I’m the only peachy one—seeing’s how I’m from Georgia.
