My latest Optimo Chicago Panama today, with the black ribbon. I count 625 WPI. I don't know how much it would cost directly from Optimo, but I bought my first one three years ago from them (pictures at the bottom, with the blue ribbon). It has 381 WPI, and the price was 2 thousand dollars.

I also think that the weave on the new one is straighter and more even.
I like the color in my first one more, because it is a little lighter.

A Panizza for grocery shopping. My wife’s in my Country (Japanese brand) hat. She claimed it because I very seldom wear it nowadays. I like the colour and shape, but it’s cotton and having had a few years of wear, it’s kind of lost its shape a bit. That said, it was the hat that started me on this journey, so it does hold a somewhat special place in my collection.
I’ll be in kangaroo leather later on - chicken tikka coming up at the pit!

Have a great Saturday,
Michael
Love this one every time I see it. That liner tip really makes this one special.

Dinner at the Thai place we frequent. First time wearing my Hornskov wool felt out & about. It may be Hornskov’s entry level custom hat, but I like it a lot. My wife is wearing a Maxim

Women in a fedora always take center stage in a Man's post here. You look great, but a "chick in a hat" always wins!

Swedish fur for a little work in the yard

I have always wanted to pet this one Michael. Great look.

Fantastic old Dalton Randall! Fruno must be so envious.

This one is really special, love that liner.

Fantastic Max. A weave so tight it is like typing paper!

Morning temps in the 30s brought out an overcoat and the first wearing of this Borsalino Ecospo in Pineta:

What a incredible Borsalino. First time I have seen that color. Wow! Very impressive.

Yesterday actually ... me in a Banana Republic (Beaver Brand) and she in a Resistol.

Good to see you both Bob. A family that hats together stays together.

Dog soirée started in the dark and finished after sunrise this morning.

A grocery and butcher store, essential shopping, errand found me wearing a Gannon (bluemist beaver).

Cheers, Eric -
Always a joy Eric. Now we get to start seeing the "Great White North" hat pictures, Huzzah! That bluemist beaver is now on my list.

Playing catch up...
Friday, the Lesser Demon accompanied me to pick up some Vietnamese in the rain.

Yesterday, the new-to-me Excellent Stetson from The Great White North went on errands.

I was just reading the research I did for you on the Demon hats the other day, memories...

Now this Game Bird has the look of a fine casual mens hat. Love that brim stitching and ribbon.

Royal Deluxe Stetson this morning

Thanks Mike. It was a special day when I found the Resistol. I think I found 3 or 4 hats that day, all my size no less.

The cap was an unusual find, too, but maybe a year earlier.

The jacket is a Harris Tweed unit from Dunn and Co.

Thanks,
Michael
