Some folks you just can’t get to bite, oh wise one! Lol
But, if you had to....oh nvm.

B, the absolutely best piece of felt I own is the Frunoliner. No testament to my crude rebuild skills, I picked it up as a beater schmatta for cheap off eBay. It is thinner and lighter weight than anything I own. Dense and with a unique color. And it will do anything I want save jump through a hoop of real fire, no steam needed.

I guess I still didn't bite, LOL.

Hells Bells man! Give a guy a heart attack!
Takes a hell of a hat to take away from those Phonics but the VS did.
Glad you came out of hiding. You set the bar high fella....lets see some vinyl spinners too!

Ps: the Sir Bowen ref gave me PVC’s.

Easy big fella, don’t be tellin folks I was tickling your ventricles. That’s how rumors get started. Plenty more gear to go. More than hats that’s for sure. Been spinning vinyl for days sorting through a stack of albums I forgot I had. Running out of room. But hey, I’ve spotted those JBL’s lurking behind you, you show me yours and I’ll show you mine.

Very nice hat and tubes. Love The Fisher. I’ve tinkered with tubes, but never got serious. Waiting for a retirement project to build a strictly music 2 channel tube system for my vintage Heritage Klipsch’s. Vinyl, Tubes, and Horns - doesn’t get much better than that ! I’m running Klipsch Reference with Solid State for my whole home system / home theater, but it’s just not the same for music. Would love to have some McIntosh....

Thanks for the compliments. I may have just the thing for ya buddy. I recently retired one of my Fishers. A 1963 x-101-c. Fully restored and one of the best sounding receivers I’ve ever heard. The soundstage is phenomenal and imaging is downright spooky. Pair of Klipsch’s will do more than fine.

First day going to the YMCA to "workout". Baby steps... I was able to do 15 minutes and 2.8 miles on the exercise bike. Even that, I'm a little wobbly. Still, I did have to wear a hat to the gym, much to my wife's dismay. I "dressed down" with my Hat City Hat Co. beater.

A man can't leave the house without his hat. Stick to your guns on that, Mike. Good to hear you're making progress, even if it is in baby steps.

Foggy night in the plains and dense mists here in the valleys. Cold until mid-morning, then the sun appeared slightly heating the air

Borsalino Antica Casa size 6 or 59 cm. here in Europe, 7 3/8 in the US

The color of the felt is "Folco" and the finish is a shiny fur, called in ancient times here in Italy by the felt manufacturers, "flaman" or finished with French iron, so it is written in the descriptions of the ancient workings of felt

Felt looks, in manufacturing, a lot like a few French hats which will catch some light in the coming days

It is a quite recent product of Borsalino, no type mentioned on the paper label.

I wish you a happy Thursday. I thank you for the likes and kind words.
Continue to carry on with your personal parade of hats
Beautiful hat, Daniele and a fine example that Borsalino stil knows how!

Good Thursday All.
This was my first long hair Borsalino purchase approximately 01. Its starting to get a lot fuzzy on exact dates. Give or take a year. It’s a great winter hat and it’s completely broken in from years of use. Not a beater, but just an old reliable friend.

We all need hats like that, Reggie. Coat, hat and suit are a treat again.
