Great hats today, gents!

Ok my friends, the wife said the hat was all wrong and my pictures were terrible. The. She dragged me outside to do it better. New hat; another VS, my newest actually, whisky. I love the bow work. Fits perfect, as you would suspect an Art Fawcett to fit. So. Hat number two of the day. View attachment 205221 View attachment 205222 View attachment 205223 View attachment 205224

Grey heather Kami ca. late 1930s today. Just had a yearning to give this one an outing again.

Super Velour, Steve. I was in the area back in October. I believe the building still stands though it is no longer a hat store. It would definitely be a hat shop everyone would be attracted to with hats like that one.

Steve, Thank you! From what I could find the building was heavily damaged in 1944 and demolished in 1959 but I haven't verified myself. Great to see the K.A.M.I! Super overall combo!

Thanks, Steve. Appreciate it.
You may very well be right about the building no longer being there. There are, thankfully, still many pre WWII buildings still standing. I may have confused it with another.

Some terrible, hurried pics of today’s hat. And some tubes, as requested by Sir Bowen @AbbaDatDeHat. Running into the city tonight to see Wicked with my chicas. This is my favorite Art hat, although I probably say that about all of em when they’re on my head. Casually inspired by (actually totally stolen from) FL member handlebar Bart. MANY years back. Art said he wouldn’t mind at all. Have a great weekend y’all! View attachment 205216 View attachment 205217 View attachment 205218 View attachment 205219

Very nice hat and tubes. Love The Fisher. I’ve tinkered with tubes, but never got serious. Waiting for a retirement project to build a strictly music 2 channel tube system for my vintage Heritage Klipsch’s. Vinyl, Tubes, and Horns - doesn’t get much better than that ! I’m running Klipsch Reference with Solid State for my whole home system / home theater, but it’s just not the same for music. Would love to have some McIntosh....

Steve, Leineweber is still in business but no retail locations. Leineweber GmbH & Co. KG with its brand name BRAX.

Wearing the Alessandria today to run errands and price plumbing fixtures on the clearance shelves. (It's always worth a looksee)
The Sundance Kid was looking for a bit of play time when I got home. I added another shot, trying to pick up the brim stitching detail, but it's pretty subtle against the unpounced felt.
