Sounds painful. Good luck with the surgery and speedy recovery, Doug. The hat is great.Last pre-op appointment before my surgery on the 17th. Wore a favorite taupe Royal Stetson for the physical and more blood tests.
For those interested, it's a transphenoidal endoscopic removal of a pituitary adenoma.

Just as nice as a Hanover Square!Dobbs Hanover Square. Since I found this at an estate sale, and replaced the sweat, I scored another in much nicer condition from @BobHufford, in much the same color scheme. So I will dub this one the Frunover Square, I guess.

That look is made for you, Randy. An overcast day in central Texas but no rain today and temps were just right to ride the bike to work and back. My choice today, other than the Shoei, was my Kaller Super Boreal. Also today, an embroidered shirt I only get to wear a few days a year...an today is one of those days!!!

Patterson "Exclusive pure fur felt", size is 60 cm or 7 1/2 US, alas too large for my head

New, unlined, with stamped mark on the crown top is part of last year's discovery in France

The paper label states that the type of felt is: "shetland auburn" and the size in French: 6 1/2. The "heather" felt is very soft and has a very velvety touch.
