Lately, I've been inspired to wear one of my Bowlers due to all the wonderful Bowler/Derby hats shown on the FL recently. A special tip of the hat to Randy for inspiring me.
Finally, today, I put on my 1920s/30s Moores of Manchester (despite what it says on the sweat) Bowler.
I was lucky to find this one at a local fleamarket. Almost antique, Manchester made, sold in Copenhagen at one of the city's premier department stores (still in existence btw). Ticked all the boxes.

Nice looking Biltmore, Hector. I think two or three of my Biltmores were sold by that same store.A little Biltmore action on a chilly day. Got this hat a few days back and I really like it. Fits great and I like the brim up look.

Thank you Michael. That's an interesting piece of information. This hat looks like it was barely used.[emoji106][emoji275]Looking good Steve. I almost opted for a derby today. Maybe tomrrow.

Nice! Lovely color. Unfortunately for me I don't think I can pull it off like you do, lol....Olive Green Resistol 707 today View attachment 196881 View attachment 196882 View attachment 196883 View attachment 196884
It’s somewhere between a blade brim and a flip up or snap up. I don’t think I like the bowled look of the brim in a full flip and I don’t want a completely flat brim, so yeah, you’re right, Deadly. Thank you for liking it, though and thanks to everyone else for their likes and comments. I may be keeping it this way, especially since my Mother likes it!

Keep it. Everybody needs a flatty.

That's a great looking hat. I really like the vibe of a porkpie hat, especially with the brim flipped up.A little Biltmore action on a chilly day. Got this hat a few days back and I really like it. Fits great and I like the brim up look.

That is a GREAT color! I had a grey 707, but it was a little snug so I gave it to my brother. Wouldn't mind finding another in a better size. The kitten finish was some of the softest, nicest felt I've had on my head.Olive Green Resistol 707 today View attachment 196881 View attachment 196882 View attachment 196883 View attachment 196884
Thank you. I wear most of my hats brim up, but you gents at The Lounge are convincing me to give brim down a chance[emoji1]That's a great looking hat. I really like the vibe of a porkpie hat, especially with the brim flipped up.

I didn’t think yesterday’s Misto could be outdone, perfect. Then there was today, perfect plus!!Thank you for your enjoyment and feedback on the Borsalino misto from yesterday. I have another... this in the stately Gorasgu style, in a heather color oddly named after the dogfish (I think). Not sure if wild, or cooked. Made for the American market following WWII.
It was supposed to rain today, so the moonstone Camp Draft was my choice. Beautiful day instead, better for lunch on the lawn at my granddaughter's school. Can you tell that she made her hat?
