Going a bit western today, me and a super soft felt Shuddie Bros in an open crown.

Never owned one and likely wouldn’t wear it often if I did but that is a fine looking hat and maybe my favorite out of the Deckard designs. Glad you got one.
Thanks, Greg. They didn't make this in Excellent, but I agree about the design. Just the kind of big, bold hat most of us love, and worthy of the name Stetson.

So this was last night... But seeing as I'll be wearing it again today... Here ya go.

My latest acquisition Dobbs with guild edge got the call up for our visit to The Barn in Sanford Florida for Garth Brooks #divebartour. I couldn't help thinking my other hats at home feeling like Woody in Toy Story when Buzz arrived!

Oh and the show.... Just the greatest selling solo artist of all time rocking out the Old Stuff with about 900 of his friends in low places!! That all!

It's always great to see someone like that in an intimate setting.

My trip to visit Mike Miller yesterday was wonderful. We spent a couple hours catching up. Due to the trials and tribulations of the summer, this new hat will have to go into hibernation. Could not help to spend some time wearing it around the house though. A wonderful Grade 8 Semi-Colado from his weaver in Cuenca. Mike said he only gets a couple of these weaves in a batch. He doesn't even have one! More detailed images will be posted later today in the new hat thread. This one is sure to be a summertime favorite!

I think that with all you’ve endured this year, the arrival of this hat is the tipping point to a tropical trip, Mike! Go somewhere just to wear that perfect paja!!

Love the brim work on this one. I think this is the first mention of you having a car, I thought you just traveled by bike everywhere, you are so healthy looking!

.
That brim is pretty much the way it came to me, Red. The stains too. I don't drive much, but I do have a car. During the summer it probably gets started once a month or so. Maybe less. I think the furthest parts of the two towns here are maybe 35 or 40 minutes away by bike and maybe 15-20 by car. So not much advantage in a car.

That's one great looking straw, Red. Surely you'll get a hot day out there before spring.

Blue thursday, eh? It just so happens...

Gotta tell ya, I don't normally go much for blue hats. But this one is turning me around. Looks great especially on you with the shades, blue plaid shirt and smile. Nice going!

Thanks, CS! I’m pretty lucky to have this one. The blue is not the bright blue as in some of the pictures, but more on the subdued side, earthy.

And I always wave the flag for these mil. spec. sunglasses, made in my town... https://www.randolphusa.com/
