What a day for lids. My hat is off to all of you :eusa_clap

This thread makes it difficult not to troll the bay even though I got two vintage hats around Christmas.

I was so hoping he had a fedora, so that we could really get a great shot. As he left, he put on his hunting-type cap with the knit ear/neck covering and told me that he and his wife were bicycle riders, who would be riding home.
It's under 30 degrees and icy in Oberlin, and a guy more than twice my age really made me feel like a wuss. I'm his twin in sweater only. :)

Well, if you are going to have a sweater twin, it's better to have an old salty one.

This is a 1930's custom hat got from the 'Bay, recently restored by Gary White who was able to save the original band.

Nice pic - you pull off that un-snapped look well. What's the interior look like?

No pictures, but I wore my brown Akubra Federation IV in the rain today. It's still drying as we speak, on a flat surface of course. It can really take it! :eusa_clap
