My Brixton Gain today. I took my holiday today so I spent a good part of the day at Half Price bookstore. Their coffee shop is excellent for people watching.

They don't make crushable felts like they used to

Hopped on a plane this morning for the regional Queensland town of Gladstone with my 50's Stetson Stowaway stuffed in my bag - the perfect crushable felt fedora. From mangled mess to hat in seconds.

What size?

I think I am going to sell a number of the hats I have but don't wear and replace them with a smaller number of choice hats. Those Barbisios have me looking in that direction for one (at least)

Scott... what size are your hats?

Mr Tutt, that is one fine looking fedora!

Thanks Rusty. It's that thin ribbon that grabs you isn't it?!

Actually, it's hard to find a rabbit felt crushable these days. Most crushable fedoras are made from wool felt today. This one is incredibly light rabbit felt yet well made and a pleasure to wear. The perfect travel companion.

Stingy days

only have two to choose from, wore them both. Yesterday it was my Champ and today it's my Royal the luxe Stetson. The Champ is still wet after a spray-mist 'n' rebash-session..

gtd & Michaelshane-great examples of fine hat wearing; I love the brim up on that 25!

Douglas-Class and style on both of yours; I do like the rust color.

Lefty-Always a great pic in a perfect surrounding; your Borsalino is tops!

Very practical and smart-looking hat, ET!

Dj-go-Nice hat; great crease work!
