Thanks Stefan. I think this is a relatively old hat. Maybe 1940sBeautiful hat, Michael. Love that colour and the felt ribbon is a nice touch.
Thanks, it's one of my favorites. Early 1950s, I think, by my label interpretation. Two beauties today, Michael, but this Dobbs wins.
Love that Knox. Gets better every time you wear it.
Love the look and dimensions of this one.

This week have been like this
About as damp as it can get today without actually being raining. Newer sort of Stetson Gun Club will make the grocery outing with me.

Yeah, specially if it's from the start of the XX century.Joao, loving this one. Nothing beats a furry hat, and a furry western is something dreams are made of

Thanks Justin. It didn't mind the damp weather, but when I went out bicycling and it happened to be pouring rain I had to resort to the Backhouse waxed cotton. They know how to make a rain hat in New Zealand.Great piece, looks like it enjoys damp weather. Can't beat that!
That Cross Country has such a fabulous shape. And the felt and ribbon positively glow in the sunlight. What a gem.1930s Dobbs "Cross Country"

Total cool!!Thank you, Perry.
Thanks, Jim.
Appreciate it, Bob. It's called a ""cutter" which is basically a cattleman crease with a dot or vertical line dividing the side dents. I've seen different shapes of it but I first noticed the crease in "All the Pretty Horses" when Matt Damon's character, John Grady Cole always used it on his hats. He wore three different hats in the movie and they all shared the crease. I shaped the "dots" on mine using an arrowhead.
