Alan, Thank you. Unfortunately it's behind glass and elevated. The museum curator said she would try to take closeups when they clean case but I failed to follow-up. I will try again.

I am always shocked at how dry and arid Kentucky looks in your photos. Reminds me of Arizona or Nevada. Had a great road trip to the grand canyon form Alberta when I was a kid. Great looking hats. Where do you find them? Are there a lot in stores down there?

This cloudy afternoon I was out and about in a vintage Stetson Stratoliner. This silverbelly hued felt has a 2 7/8" brim.

I left the house with a neat and tidy teardrop crease. The hat took its own crease with my wear.

Cooler summer days rock!

Whiskey is more brown, and pecan has more green in it. At least that’s how I see them.

Needed to put on a long sleeve light shirt to fend off the bugs this evening. Changed hats to a vtg.Stetson Vita-felt Playboy.

The ribbon has faded to a grand color.

The felt on this hat is unbelievable.

I am aging and hope I retain as much quality and panache as many of my vintage hats.

Running errands in an SBCD. To the surprise of nobody, I decided to try a cattleman-like crease on this thing. It had a really superb diamond bash when I got it that I loved the look of when hanging on the wall - just not on my head. Gotta work the kinks out still... but I think it’s a good sign that, with this crease, I don’t seem to want to take it off.
