Beautiful hat, Michael. Love that colour and the felt ribbon is a nice touch.
Thanks Stefan. I think this is a relatively old hat. Maybe 1940s

Two beauties today, Michael, but this Dobbs wins.
Thanks, it's one of my favorites. Early 1950s, I think, by my label interpretation.

Love that Knox. Gets better every time you wear it.

Thanks,
Michael

Thanks for the compliments on the Stetsonian. Always a pleasure sharing it with you all

This week have been like this

Joao, loving this one. Nothing beats a furry hat, and a furry western is something dreams are made of

About as damp as it can get today without actually being raining. Newer sort of Stetson Gun Club will make the grocery outing with me.

Great piece, looks like it enjoys damp weather. Can't beat that!

Have yourselves a wonderful day

Looks like a good candidate for some hot weather. I need to look into one

I really dig the contrasting ribbon and brim binding. Make it POP

I really like that. It looks like it has a longer nap to the felt? Either way, great piece

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Love the colors on that one. Great play between the felt, ribbon and binding.

Great piece, looks like it enjoys damp weather. Can't beat that!
Thanks Justin. It didn't mind the damp weather, but when I went out bicycling and it happened to be pouring rain I had to resort to the Backhouse waxed cotton. They know how to make a rain hat in New Zealand.

That Cross Country has such a fabulous shape. And the felt and ribbon positively glow in the sunlight. What a gem.

Thanks,
Michael

Thank you, Perry.

Thanks, Jim.

Appreciate it, Bob. It's called a ""cutter" which is basically a cattleman crease with a dot or vertical line dividing the side dents. I've seen different shapes of it but I first noticed the crease in "All the Pretty Horses" when Matt Damon's character, John Grady Cole always used it on his hats. He wore three different hats in the movie and they all shared the crease. I shaped the "dots" on mine using an arrowhead.

Total cool!!
And by the way, you look better in your’s than Matt does in his.
