@Frunobulax... Rocking the center dent, Jim!!! I may need to fire up the steamer.
Ernst Köln (Men's Store but not sure what hat company they sourced it from) probably early 1960s but has an earlier form and dimensions.
Reminded tonight that my hat proportions are crossing close to "Mugsy" territory. I may have to consider reducing the crown a bit. Or perhaps to crease for more tugboat and pull down the brim? No cigarretes thank you.
Mugsy was always sport'n nice suits and topcoats. He is also my relative stature. Hmmmm...
Amused this evening. Best, Eric-
Love the color and cool sweat details. Are they what make it a Comfit? Pristine. This morning I choose a more moderate crown height hat, a Knox Comfit with the Cavanaugh Edge. Lovely felt.
Dog walk and shoveling. An annoying 1" of snow overnight. The Knox and I went to work removing the small amount.

Nice! Gotta love that hollywood curl!Just finished making this Trilby, 2 inch brim, 4 3/4 crown. Sand color with copper ribbon. A bit of Raiders inspiration. Makes for a pretty neat spring/ summer hat.

Great lines and brim edge David. Enjoyed seeing this one.Adventurebilt
Cheers!

I have been liking a center dent more and more. With all of the European hats coming my way via Stefan, they are overtaking my diamonds in the hat room. Fantastic work on that Dalton, Mr. Dalton King!Already off to a Tuesdillyicious hat day.
I took some time on my day off yesterday to do some hat work. Currently rebuilding a thin ribbon for my wife. I also spent some time opening the crown, reflanging, and putting a different crease in this Dalton. What was once a C-crown is now a centerdent.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Great looking Gannon Richard. The contrast with that creamy camel color is super.TAR Tuesday

Thanks Jack, the color is hard to capture. It is called clay, and that's what it reminds me of. The red Oklahoma kind, that will suck your boot off!Beautiful hat DD! Perfect dimensions & ratio of crown to brim. I like that style a lot. Great morning light for pics too!
Charlie, Thank you! Same back to you!More brim than we're accustomed to seeing on you, Steve... and you're in total control, wearing it with authority!! You've really been bringing the A game lately, my friend!
