Over the weekend, I received this wonderful Demon Hanover made by the Hoyt Hat Company, likely in the early 50s. It's a great hat.

Today was a GREAT day, attending the first Baby-naming Ceremony of my life. This is a relatively recent custom, but I'm all in!! I welcomed my first grand daughter into our fold while wearing my only MacLachlan. Even the Rabbi wanted to know about this lid. How cool was that... giving a rabbi hat advice?!!! Some fab-tastic hats today! I wore the late 50's Royal Stetson today. Kind of taupe, real velvety, thin felt with faded ribbons in reddish brown and gold/chardonnay.

After all the rain, the sun emerges. Cool and sunny. My favorite fall weather. Medium weight sport coat and jeans type of weather.
