Forgot to add that Friday night and Saturday I was wearing my "Lion Hats" (later Beaver Brand) 50's? Hat. It is a sort of Open Road/Playboy clone......original pricetag of $7.50 is carded to the sweat.
ALWAYS get positive comments and looks on this one!! I THINK I finally have it creased the way IT wants......

HAHA, yep Bob sent me a text too and mentioned being suspended. Is there a way to petition someone them to let him come back early? He told me he got a 30 day suspension...Seems a bit harsh

I like the way this hat thinks. Very cool diamond treatment.

Unless the Bartenders got a bunch of angry complaints, I thought 30 days was a bit harsh as well. But this is their playground, not mine, so I don't make the rules. At least it wasn't "Don't come back...ever."

I suppose you are right that at least it wasn't forever. I just know how important this place is to Bob and I hate to see him be forced away from it for so long.

My parents have been visiting and so we went for a family hat shot on their last day.

Good opportunity to pull out some hats;
My mother has the 1960's Borsalino, father sporting the early 1950's Stetson Mode Edge, daughter has Dutch "Imperator" (too small for me so now hers) and I have the Borsalino 50's Alessandria. Son has gone colourfully rogue as usual.

My father does not speak much but he became quite animated saying he felt like Al Capone and asked if I had a Thompson he could borrow... I told him he could not keep the hat but would get him one if he wanted. He's 82 but it is never too late to start wearing hats!

Honestly, I could never afford Campy. I hear it is great, smooth and fast. I have nothing negative to say about my 6700 Ultegra groupo. However, a friend has been very disappointed with his SRAM Red groupo. I'm not impressed by it either. I would like to try a full Dura Ace on my next bike venture.

I have a Trek Madone 5.2 full Dura Ace (non DI2) Nice, smooth and low maintenance. In the late 80's I had a Bianchi, Columbus SL tubes and Campagnolo super record groupo. Not much use comparing those two bikes, though. Apples and Oranges.

I don't see much Campagnolo around here. Their stuff is beautifull but very expensive.
