Thanks Samuel. That's one of my few real Hawaiian shirts. You pulled out a couple of very nice hats today.

I love that shirt! Hold on to summer as long as you can, just wear felts in the process. The rake on that Stetson is to die for.

Thanks Red. Great to see you getting the felts ready for wear. Nice collection. I have a Dobbs plasti-milan too, though not as nice as yours. I find it handy for rough wear in the hot weather.

Don't know which I like more. The shirt or the hat. A killer combination.

This morning for church was my brand new Art Fawcett in powder blue. Can not get over just how good this feels on my head. I'll post more in the Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame.

The forest fire smoke is so thick here in the Willamette Valley you can hardly see a few blocks. Ventured out in my Dobbs Florentine "milan". It is some form of poly, so straw in name only, but I still love it. Nice leather sweat and airy weave in the crown.

Got it, near Portland/Corvallis, nice area. I lived in Bend for a while. lovin' Oregon country. I have family scattered all over the Pacific Northwest.

Up from you in Albany Oregon, the Willamette Valley. With the high sitting over us, the flow is bringing in smoke from the multiple forest fires.

Amen to that; "The grass is always greener..." We're approximately 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, and the temperature hasn't dropped below 80°F for nearly a week (including the middle of the night). With highs over 100°F during the day and the accompanying humidity, it's just plain uncomfortable. I'm hoping we'll actually get some decent autumn/winter weather this year, but that remains to be seen.

My sincere apologies to Mr. Hemingway for my addition to the weather reports.

Hiking on Mt Ranier...it was a warm day, but at that altitude it got chilly...Kind of weird hiking in the snow on a glacier...sweating and cold at the sametime...lol! I'm gonna include a couple pix of just the scenery aswell as me in my Lock & Co Sandown...
