Moe, did you feel the quake earlier? How close are you to Ferndale?

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Sorry, didn't see this earlier.
I did feel the quake, it woke me up (around 6 am here) but I wasn't sure it was a quake till later because the strong winds were shaking my old apartment building all night. Ferndale is about 120 miles away, to the north of me.

I found a catalog picture and description of a coat exactly like this one. The catalog was one year younger than I am, so it's conceivable the coat and I are the same age.

You are looking top notch again today. Great hat and killer shoes. Made in the shade.

They don't make them like that anymore! Really cool stuff and the pants look warm too!

No kidding? I'm a graphic artist currently working in marketing and advertising. Nice to see another lounger in the visual arts. What studio do you storyboard for?

Let's see, did about 16 years at Gem Studio right out of college til the owners retired in 2004, went on to work with Famous Frames, Warshaw Blumenthal, Storboards Inc and mostly work for Burrito Boards now.

That fedora is to die for and looks amazing on you!!! Wow!! And the little blue number is gorgeous too, does kind of look like my black one doesn't it? How do you keep it in place? On hats that tend to blow away I sew loops so I can use bobby pins to keep them in place (but it helps to have my hair on a bun or ponytail so the pins can get a grip).

It does indeed. It reminded me that I had this one.
And thank you. That blue fedora is the most amazing felt.

As for the other hat. It stays put pretty well. But I do sew in hair grips if I make this for others.
Wig clips work well too. Depends on what type of hair they have.

And your english is spectacular btw.

Very sporty, Sport.
My 9th grade algebra teacher was an ancient Jesuit priest. Whenever he'd get pissed off at one of us kids, he'd refer to him as "Sport" and make him write an essay on some inane thing. "Tonight, you're going to write an essay on the color blue..." I hated that class.

Thanks for the memory, Bob.
