I always enjoy seeing your hats and boots, Bama!
Thanks Fed, I'm going going to show HER this post tonight.

Ant said exactly what I was going to say.
Thank you Michael. It is a really good combo.Esther that blue and gray combo stuns me every time I see it. So nice. The second is really nice too. I like that shape and the color is perfect.

Don't knock it till you tried itLove it. Though I reckon that I'd look pretty silly under it. [emoji6]
Great to see you well hatted my friend. Take care!
Thank you!Love the blue!
Now that's what I call a brim. Great job on that Terry.Nice collection of lids this cold Thursday morning. Wearing a reworked Resistiol 3X. Both the brim and the crown have been reshaped. I used Tom Selleck's "Down Under" hat for inspiration on this one. Can't seem to get a good picture of it, though.

I know, it is thursday after allWearing my favorite hat today I see.
I know its not your favorite, but it should be.
Nice work on the other hat. Great color. Its not you, though.
Enjoy hatting today!
Thank you.I really like both of those hats. Very nice!
A rarity for me today

Are we talking hats or just in general?
Kinda figured that as soon as I read your signature. In general. [emoji4]
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
What a wonderful bowler Steve, love that lining!Phillip Neubauer Berlin - Charlottenburg
It has that feel, doesn't it!I, for one, am certainly enjoying seeing your hats. They seem the perfect analog to the 30s to 50s men's hats that usually show up around here.
Thank's so kind Michael, it must be said that 30's and 40's hats were the best ever made, 50's too but it was already a steady decline.
Forgot to add that today's hat is a stunner. Didn't I see that in a 1936 movie with a very Art Deco set?
Michael
FedOregon, point taken! I will keep annoying you guys with my hatty smile!Polluting the threads??? Blasphemy! I'm sure we all enjoy seeing you post, and seeing your hats.... and your smile.

Will do Blue! Thanks!Nonsense!! Keep posting away -- love your hats. Wouldn't mind seeing more pics of your blocks as well!
Love that answer mmbarnes, love it!You are polluting it. With AWESOME.
You have quite a small head Michael, must be a blessing to buy vintage hats with heads being smaller in the past an all that. I guess the foam is closed cell? No idea, it's very dense and compact, a kind of peach colour, but it might be made by a Spanish manufacturer and the equivalent in the US might be different.Kuki it is then. Is it polyurethane insulating foam that you use? Closed cell or open cell? I measure my head at 56.5 cm, but hats from US 6 7/8 (55) to 7 1/8 (56.8) have fit me fine. Who knows what the real size of those vintage ones are. I figured I probably couldn't measure them accurately.
And thanks for you kind comments.
Michael
Red, I'm ashamed to say that more than a third of those blocks have not been tried yet. I sort of go crazy on eBay (mostly eBay Germany which has reasonable prices) but then some stay on the shelf for a while. Will have to step on it!Impressive, now we need some images of the hats they created!
I'm lucky to have such an amazing collection of blocks, it's an addiction.Oh yeah...
Esther, the answer is YES, shared madness makes for interesting conversation! Would love to see your light blue one!!My kind of woman! We would have sooooo much to talk about.
And I have yet again a very similar hat in light blue. You pull it off so much better than I though.
I usually stick to my fedora's.

I need that coat today here in Oregon!
How did you find that? I told my Mom to quit posting my kiddie pics. Can't resist:
It was around 17 F (-8 C) with a 10-12 mph wind for most of my 90 minute or so walk. It was lovely in other words. Enjoyed every minute of it.Wow, Michael, you're set for anything coming your way! What a great outfit!

The felt in that one mesmerizes me. Love it .Hey folks!
You all are superbly hatted, as always!
Cold and wet today, but not the bone chilling cold of last night...rain stopped so I'm heading out for errands.
Going with another green and fuzzy hat today, this 50's Lembert velour that is so soft and plush it must be felt to truly appreciate the quality.
Have a great day!

Thank you very much, love.I know it's not your favorite hat. But it does suit you.
Then again, everything does...
Geez Tommy! That's a beauty!I'm a lot like Moe on the left handed thing. I write and draw with my left (I work professionally as a storyboard artist), bat, golf, mouse etc with the right.
Great hats today as always, everyone!
For me today I'm back with another light grey offering
Resistol Beaver Twenty
The iphone had a lot of trouble focusing on this one thus the "tongue shot" was the best I could get from this angle
