Hi Everyone,
I have been waiting to post any photos until I lost about 40 lbs. and became better looking. After celebrating my 70th birthday last week, I finally admitted that is not going to happen. I have been following this thread for about a year and love the variety of hats posted and the wonderful civility of the people here. I hope to contribute a little.

Looking good. Mind if I ask what method you were using to loose weight? Only reason I ask is I started a plan three weeks ago in an effort to be in better shape at 40 than I was at 30. PM me is you prefer.

Yard work today to winterize the yard. Yes this is Canada. Usually around our thanksgiving weekend it's wise to do it or get cought with an early snow storm.

My atelier is moving soon.

The place means a lot to me, my grandfather put in those windows, did the wood floors etc.
the floor is scratched pretty badly but no way in heck that I'm covering it.

You could always sand the hardwood and re-stain it , it would look like new , probably better . I love that blouse Esther ! Looks cool ! Your chapeau , also . I'm confused too , are you moving ?

I lost 20 pounds in one year, just get into the gim and hit it hard.....worked for me at 47, still have 10 more to loose but now I am 48...

I have an uncle who is extremelly funny and 300% politically incorrect anf he told me, "save yourself all that suffering, loosing weight is easy, you either eat less or crap more, if you do both works better !"

Well, that's the thing. It's been sanded so many times i'm afraid that there's not much left to sand.

Either the manufacturer or the vendor (Hats Plus) calls it Bordeaux. You could call it Oxblood or Burgundy.

This Royal Stetson St. Regis came from the retail store on Chestnut Street. The sweatband is stamped Nov 15 1947.

Too much time at work, but that changes tomorrow. I'll be semi retired and will just be working part time! Lovin' the great looking lids and lovin' the coming of Fall, one of my favorite seasons of the year. Everyone's looking great this nice Sunday evening. Wearing one that I don't put on too often. Sometimes I like this hat, sometimes I don't. 3X Resistol with 41/2 inches of brim! I did a reblock and recrease on this one and added a 6 ply mid ribbon with just a keeper...

A couple of my reworked Resistols. 3X in Silverbelly and a Stagecoach in Chestnut...

Remembering way back to some of my favorite TV Westerns...
