Two hat day for me.Started at the Great Trail Festival with new to me vintage Mallory derby(more on this hat in another thread)got it at flea market Saturday.Then I found this straw hat that should make Joao jealous.5" crown,7" brim

The derby is nice but you'd best hide the straw.....Joao's probably on a plane now!

It's actually more brown than shown in the image. Heavier / dense felt for sure.

Why not? Thats fine. Many did like the orig Buck better. Just wasnt quite in my wheelhouse but that doesn't mean it wasnt a good lookin hat. I bought it cuz I thought it looked nice and the price was attractive also.
