Tuesday while working on a score for a friends movie the hard drive in my MacBook Pro finally bit the biscuit after 8 years of hard use.
Lost all the files because I was stupid and didn't back them up.

Long story longer ... I just dropped almost 2 grand at the Apple Store
That severely bites into my hat budget

When my iMac hard drive started to show signs of failure, I started to make backups. It then failed and I restored everything on a new hard drive. Later Apple recalled those hard drives because they were defective.
I still do backups.

I always back up and use Time Machine to the external ... but I was just in the middle of this score and figured I would just back up when I was finished
the computer really showed no signs of $#!tting the bed on me ... it was almost 8 years old though ... with 8 years of very heavy use and travel .. so I'm not completely surprised

no big deal really ... I have all super important stuff backed up and those tracks for the score I will just redo on this computer and make them better than they were

That's a killer Bantam, Matt. Looks like Rick's boxes should be coveted.
And once again, Dave, I almost grabbed my CD, but opted instead for this 3X OR. Perhaps I'll wear the CD sitting in the cold rain and snow at Great American Ballpark this evening. THey're calling for a chilly, wet First Friday night game in Cincy. I'll have to bundle up!

Hey all!
Keeping the black hat thing going with this Borsalino crushable velour.

Now if you were to ask what hat I will be wearing at 7:15 pm Left Coast time, you can be sure it will be that Borden for Jay Lord that got the Giants 12 runs yesterday. Yes, baseball fans can be superstitious. And it's only weird if it doesn't work. Fruno jokingly mentiobed Elsie the Cow from the old Borden Dairy ads so I was thinking about calling the hat Elsie, but the way the 'Ants moidered the Dodgers I think she has to be Lizzie.
