Hmm... than it's the camera angle that gives the impression of being taller.

Yesterday I wore my only Akubra, a Sombrero in Superfine quality.

And later this stingy Resistol BR Westerns. Didn't want to scare the people that works on the bank so a stingy was required.

Strapped – Awesome Stetson. Looks good on you.

NYC – You look like my bookie. Sharp hat.

O’Sully – NICE Akubra. And a corn cob pipe to boot.

Mmbarnes – Being of Spanish decent, I can’t help but love that hat.

Casechopper – I’ve always loved that Campdraft on you. Looking good.

HatsRme – I’m not blowin’ smoke, that Blue Smoke is awesome. Love the color and the ribbon. It would look better with a green background, however.

1mach1 – I simply love the Borsalinos. Awesome!

Jauntyone – That is absolutely my favorite color combination. Beautiful.

Joao – Love the brim curl on the Resistol. Very sharp. Again, your definition of stingy makes me think you are a generous man at heart.

Madhatter – Yes, but it’s still a straw. It was 20 degrees here this morning. I’m sure Joao is gonna love that hat!

My 30’s Smith of Wisconsin long hair to keep my short hairs warm.

Good day hatted/capped folks.

This morning had me in a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner in cadet blue.

After a quick lunch and back to the gym, I am wearing a "warm cap" in the cool 40'F breeze.

This vtg. "fashion cap" finds its origins in Milwaukee, WI.

Best, Eric -

Thanks MMbarnes. The vtg. Strat's were made in a bunch of great colors. Below is a pic of a while ago showing some of the colors. I have added several more Strat's in different varieties (brim sizes, different colors(shades),felt qualities, manufacturing age) and colors since the pic, but the pic still shows how Stetson had some superb color pallets on its hat offerings. Perhaps later this spring I can take a family shot.

What Akubra is that O'Sully?

mmbarnes: I really like that Flying Floud. There aren't that many flat top hats around.

Akubra campdraft today

Liking that gentle pinch xtending towards the back...rather than the tight pinch towards the front. Looks almost like the beggining of a cattleman.

The Akubra is the one with a brim curl not my stingy Resistol.
I'm kind of generous when I have enough (or with my own work).

Madhatter – Yes, but it’s still a straw. It was 20 degrees here this morning. I’m sure Joao is gonna love that hat!
True on the last statement ;)
But I also say, it's a straw possibly a shantung...

Steve, another gorgeous one. Look how perfectly the brim curls!

Eric, those colors are subtle and exquisite in that setting!
