Very Nice David! I'm a Dallas native and went to seminary in Ft. Worth. Heading back there in a few months for a visit and will savor the hat buying experience. I miss those Texas skies.

tommyK--I watched that one but it's so close to one I already have, I didn't bid. The seller is just up the 101 from me. Happy to see a fellow Lounger got it.

Borsalino for me today.

Tommy, Tommy, Tommy!! Love that Playboy! I'm jealous as he11. :p

Harv, the feeling is mutual. I'll be forever on the lookout for a Flagship and Bantam like yours and a Vogue and Avenue like Eric's and a Lee Gold Label like Charlie's and.......oh the list goes on and on...........

MN barnes; Excellent post sir.

Danielle; Great hat!

Hatter; Even with a side ways pic post the quality hat shot comes thru. Thanks.

Tommy; Darn nice Playboy. The vtg. bon vivant's made by Stetson are prized for good reason. Excellent fedora sir and I hope to see it being shown often in this thread.

Harv; Great hat and those are some great autos!

Java; Thanks for sharing.

Dave; Wow, Texas in the afternoon-who knew it looked so inviting. Glad you are making the re-location enjoyable. Find time to wear and share that grand felted fedora collection sir!

Knotten; Love the hats and the backdrops in your pics. Real life rocks!

Steve; Excellent, what more can be said. Your fedora rack is chuck full of special lids and todays is an excellent rep of that quality. Again, thanks for sharing.

Too the many others - thanks for sharing as I have been appreciating them this evening. Post away fedora/cap folks!

Best to all, Eric -

What Akubra is that O'Sully?

mmbarnes: I really like that Flying Floud. There aren't that many flat top hats around.

I'm with you on the Vogue, Avenue, and Lee Gold. The list will just keep growning, I'm afraid.

O'Sully, that is a great looking Akubra. Looks perfect on you.

mmbarnes, sweet Flying Cloud. I really like that one. Looks official!

Sam, the CD goes great with the outfit. I assume that is the Silverbelly?

Thanks for the kind words guys

Wanted to pay some compliments from yesterday while I have time;

Stratcat-Classic good looks there. It's like you walked off the silver screen and into color
S4C-Great color on that Playboy clone and now that I have one I can say the shape and proportions seem dead on.
Harv-Lots of thin ribbon goodness. The Kevin Mc is nice and the Dobbs is a personal favorite with the Guild Edge
Case-That VS is a beaut! Great ribbon work and color as one would expect from Art
Fruno-Disney's are a rare treat. Great ribbon color and backbow
Greg-Love the coppery brown goodness on that Paul Stewart. Not bad for "off the shelf"
Hatguy-the grey flatcap is a classic but the mask must get some funny looks!
Eric-Looking good in the brown flat cap. Looking forward to seeing the new panama and milan, they look pritstine
mm-Looking super in that Knox, I've got a similar Cavanagh I need to get out in the sunlight
Daniele-Beautiful Homburg, great colors. You represent the European makers very well here
MaddHatter-That Justified hat is dead on right down to the buckle on the leather strap
Java-your shadow looks great, show us the hat next time!
Mayser-Stunning pristine chocolatey perfection
Knotten-Great NW. You're another one whose classic look is timeless
g.durand-always looking good in the thin ribbons and that Borso is especially sweet. More of a light grey than silverbelly, I think? I'm glad I didn't have you to compete with on that Playboy

ONE more day until Spring! I'm glad, because we're starting to get worried that our gardens and yards are turning to tundra. There is still plenty of the white stuff covering the ground!

I'm dropping by to drop off a view or two of my Blue Smoke VS.

Alan must be totally taken up by the busy astrological week.... Lots of Solar activity, Aurora Borealis, AND an eclipse to observe. Pictures, Alan?! Please!

Thanks, Tommy! Perhaps we need to have a meeting of the hats. :p

Charlie, I love that blue smoke color, it's fantastic! Still got plenty of that white stuff on the ground, I see.
I, too, have missed Alan's hat pics and jaunty quips.
