tommyK, Eric, alan, Gromulus, Case, Miamib., Daniele, Perry, rclark, very nice guys. I envy those lids, I especially envy Miami's Strat! One day, maybe....

Steppin' out tonight. Which hat to wear. It's one of those moments. Right now, I have too few hats in my collection and too many to choose from. My OR, or my Stagecoach.

Rick, Perry, Joao, Harv, RJR, moehwk, Dale, Rogera, Thanks guys. I appreciate everyone's feedback and suggestions. I went with the advice of the majority and wore the OR. I think if my sport jacket had been Western tailored I would have worn the Resistol. I'll definitely be searching the bay for one....I went to a City Council meeting. Aside from my wife's usual comments, that wearing my fedoras "dates" me and makes me look like an old man, the reactions from others were positive. I got comments from, "Cool Hat", to, "That looks sharp". One guy showed some real interest in the hat and was asking questions about it. I suggested the Lounge to him and I think we're going to have a new member joining up soon.

That's one of the great things about an Open Road. It is so versatile that you can wear it on the ranch or out on the town. My wife likes me in hats, but wonders why I need so many! Lol

Matt, great looking Strat, nice color on that one. Congrtas.

Richard--I never wore a fur hat when I lived in the northeast, but looking back on it and thinking of all the days I was out in extreme cold, I wish I had had one.

I haven't been out of the house yet today, but here are the hats I wore Thursday and Friday.

Late '40s/early '50s Stetson Playboy. The hat in my collection that comes closest to perfection.

Harv, Matt, Rick--Thanks guys.

Matt--Believe it or not, the Playboy is a 7 1/2 Long Oval. It was a very lucky find by way of fellow Lounger bond.

Rick--It's more of an almond color, with a ribbon that fades from that color to a rose-pink shade.
