Alan - I heartily recommend vests - extra warmth in winter under a sportscoat, and perfect for cooler days when you don't quite feel the need for more.

Remember the sweatband shimming (padding) and the fact that you can achieve some shrinkage just by wearing them. Mazel tov on the progress, man!!
