Hi Charlie - nice VS. You and I have similar tastes in sport coats (I have one much like yours - but I didn't get the memo we were wearing them today). Nice touch with the topcoat.

And it's cold here in Cleveland too. I almost never go to the mall. I do all my shopping online. In fact, the new watch arrived from Long Island yesterday, is keeping great time, but I don't have the tools to re-size the band. So it was a quick trip out to the mall as it first opened to have the band re-sized. This will be my last trip to the mall until well after the holidays.

Wearing an early '50s Borso.

What a difference a year makes...this time last year I spent 10 days in the hospital after having an emergency life saving surgery. Three months after, I was back in the hospital again undergoing another surgery. I was 7 days in the hospital for the second one....and I was still wearing a hat!

A great anniversary, TJones... first of many I'm sure. Your ribbon replaced TAR looks swell too.

Thanks to all for the good reviews on the old Stetson. :yo:

Joao - looks good - that should keep the rain off :)

Alan - lovely looking 'burg. A nice brown Homburg is on my long wants list.

Eric - Looks classy to me.

g.d. - looking good. I don't think I've spotted that bow centre before.

Matt - No problem with wearing such a fine hat again.

Sam - Great to see the beret

Smoothsailor - Brim up works well - great hat

Charlie - you are the master of the swept brim

Andy - Lovely Borso

Aaron - I love the colour of that Knox

TJones - Most importantly that's a great anniversary. Less importantly the new ribbon works well.

Matt a fine looking homburg.

---------------------------------

Relatively mild today. First wearing of a Borsalino Alessandria I picked up from RMR Hats - 'vintage' but relatively modern, probably one of the last hats out of the old factory:

Nice looking Stetsons, Tommy & Teach.

Super windy here (and bloody cold) today - the only hat I thought would stay on my head was my low profile Black Sheep Hatworks cap

Not to requote the three photos yet again... it looks very much like a later era hat made in Australia for Stetson under license that is for sale on eBay.

Bunches of beauties!

HRME, I just love that Mojave VS.

mmbarnes-- GREAT homburg!

G. Durand, most excellent VS Strat clone. That piece of charcoal oughtta burn for a long time!

Richard, the borso is super nice too. The higher, more angular flange really works!

Nice looking Stetson Tommy

HistoryTeach - relatively recent I think, but looks good whatever the age.

David - fine looking cap. Will the 'tache survive December?

g.d. - Art has done a wonderful job with that Strat clone.

Thanks Jeff - my first Borso, and I can see why people love the felt.

Bloody freezing this morning. BSHW in Eggplant kept me warm though.

Richard - I'm expecting the Mo to be gone on December First, but you never know.
