Amazing. I want one like that.

It's not the beaver brand, it's the Portuguese Bunny made by EPALDA (I think).

Bom dia, Joao. Where is the hat from? And how are things in Lisboa? Was there back in '81.
Forgot to tell you about Lisbon. Downtown (Baixa) is almost all pedestrian. Almost no one lives there and the commerce is also vanishing.
The underground/subway/metro is bigger. All transportation have been modernized in a way or another.
For me, I wouldn't like to live there. Too much traffic, too much people, too much noise.
It's nice to visit but not in the rush hour.

Not to pick nits, but I think you meant today November 22, 2013....

I knew that... Just wanted to see if people were paying attention. :eusa_doh: ;)
Thank you! I'm just starting to get some sleep. Should be back to "normal" in a few days.

Today's Tiny Tilt on that VitFeltgives you some serious swag, MattB. Such a great hat!

Happy Friday!

Wow, there are some truly awesome hats worn today; everyone looks outstanding!
For me today I wore my Mallory Nokabout, nothing fancy but, it's so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it sometimes.

It has finally warmed up to 10'F this morning. A dog walk and some wood splitting have been my way to stay warm. It takes a few weeks to aclimatize to thinking and feeling warm in the winter temps. My vintage Dunn cap works well this morning.

Old work hat

My beat-up Filson today. A little wood splitting and some countertop building are in the cards.

The Filson shrank (as they do) some years ago -- and good luck stretching it! -- so it perches like a yarmulke now. The beneficial tradeoff is that my earmuffs fit over it when I'm using power tools.

Character of the "felt": tinny. Just like they say. ;)

OK, got to get that kitchen counter built before holiday turkeys fly in. Have a great day, all.
