What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Wearing my Penney's Marathon today, because it does sometimes rain in Southern California. Bought it when I was about 18, and it was already likely 20 years old then.

I've actually been wearing this hat for the past 3 days...the first 2 to have a beaver hat for the rain, and today because I forgot how much I liked this hat.

Mulceber, I thought of you and Fluteplayer when I saw the UM connection. Maybe you can find out more about this maker? Seems long gone but once at 113 East Huron St.

I'm going to try to do some investigating in the next few days. I already googled "Mann's Fine Tailored Hats Ann Arbor" in the hopes of finding some records, but that didn't turn up anything. I think tomorrow I'll stroll down to 113 E. Huron - it's within walking distance from my office. I'm pretty sure the building is gone, but we'll see what I find. If I'm feeling really ambitious I might even go to town hall and see if I can dig up some records. -M
