I was lucky enough to acquire a "new" Borsalino so I'm putting it through its paces

This hat has the super soft Borsalino felt and the grey colour changes a lot depending on the light. It needs a little shaping and brushing - I'll post some shots in the Brotherhood thread later.

Thanks. I tend to believe that a good vintage Borsalino is just about as good as it gets.

I have (or had) one, and that's almost exactly the way I creased my brim before I had converted (scissor cut the brim) my homburg into a 2 1/8 inch brim fedora. Looks cool like that, very western-esque.

Spent the day at the St. Andrews Society of Connecticut Highland Festival at the Goshen Fairgrounds. In between playing a wearing a Glenngarry It was my Akubra Campdraft in Bluegrass Green. Great time a little wet, chillie and windy. Felt just like Scotland
