Thanks Stefan:That's a mouthfull, but then it's quite the hat too. beautiful.
Excellent hat Daniele. The color looks great on you. It's still warm here, to wear felt hats, but this morning there was a lot of desire and in the early morning the temperature was decent
Gannon Winchester blue felt
It is one of my favorites when the season starts. It is not thin, but not even so heavy as to become a cape of sweat
In the morning, for a couple of hours, was my partner, then the heat made me desist
This Gannon was supposed to be the first chapter in a series dedicated to trying out the skills of the hatcheries across the ocean, but it was interrupted by the too much used hats that I find almost every day here in Italy.
We will see later if he will resume
Have a good day to everyone, hoping to wear some felt soon
Thanks RBH for being on top of things. This might be a good idea. Give me some feedback on closing this thread and making it a sticky [so it can be viewed easily when wanted].
Then we can start a new WHAYWT thread.
Thank you Steur, I check in and look around fairly often but the heat makes wearing my favorite hats impossible. Not for much longer though, c'mon fall!Gorgeous hat, Roger. And good to see you again.
Byooteefull!
It was really cool this morning so I thought this plush Tonak velour would help keep me warm. I was right! Just a bit too large for me at 7-5/8, but I really like this one. Bashes like a dream, wears like a crown fit for royalty. Super sweet lid.
I got a real nice compliment from a grocery store employee this morning. He told me his Dad collects hats and he threw me the compliment from about 20 yards away, said he could tell it was real nice when I walked in the door!

But, of course.Did you tell him to have his dad check out the FL?
Thanks, Perry! That is some luscious felt Doug.
Hey, that's how Doc works... you follow his playbook? Send a pm if you're interested...A real shame it doesn’t fit. Man, I wish I knew someone who was a 7 5/8.
What?
That hat doesn't take any prisoners, John. Great score.Hey all!
"World's Finest" is a pretty lofty claim. Unless, of course, you can back it up.
This Dalton Genuine Beaver sure can!
Whether or not Dalton actually is the world's finest is a matter of opinion, but this one could certainly hold it's own in any hat competition.
Have a great day!

I've said it before and I will say it again: now that's a hat!Mac Lachlan homburg today, in my favorite marisquería.
