After church with Sandra and daughter; wearing the dark navy Disney. I'd forgotten how much I love this hat.

And another goes on the wishlist. Never seems to end. Great hat, Doug.

Two hat day. This morning for services I chose a Silverbelly VS. It's a very simple looking hat but I think it has a classic look. Love it as I do all my hats from Art Fawcett. View attachment 135853 View attachment 135854 View attachment 135855 View attachment 135852

This afternoon I switched to my Gannon Natural. This has a bit taller crown at 6" and wider brim at 3".

Great hats, Bill. I'll admit though that the Gannons' crown is just a tad oversized for my taste.

It's still warm here, to wear felt hats, but this morning there was a lot of desire and in the early morning the temperature was decent

Gannon Winchester blue felt

It is one of my favorites when the season starts. It is not thin, but not even so heavy as to become a cape of sweat

In the morning, for a couple of hours, was my partner, then the heat made me desist

This Gannon was supposed to be the first chapter in a series dedicated to trying out the skills of the hatcheries across the ocean, but it was interrupted by the too much used hats that I find almost every day here in Italy.
We will see later if he will resume

Have a good day to everyone, hoping to wear some felt soon
Lovely colour and great brim-up style, Daniele. Very nice.

It was really cool this morning so I thought this plush Tonak velour would help keep me warm. I was right! Just a bit too large for me at 7-5/8, but I really like this one. Bashes like a dream, wears like a crown fit for royalty. Super sweet lid.

I got a real nice compliment from a grocery store employee this morning. He told me his Dad collects hats and he threw me the compliment from about 20 yards away, said he could tell it was real nice when I walked in the door!

.
I can see that from thousands of miles away:D Looks like an early Tonak; all the Hückel skills were still there.

I like taller crowns. This has a 6” open crown and I think it needs to be a bit shorter. I think my new customs will have shorter crowns but not by much. Maybe 5 1/2”.

I like the 6" #52 he blocks on for me. Gives me more to play with in the crease. You can always shove them down a bit more to get the height you want, and get a great deep crease out of it.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Both are stunners Bill. that frayed ribbon on the Gannon is really cool. ;)
