Cool this morning but hotter later in the day. Working today but staying casual so starting off with this Bailey which matches my suspenders. Will switch to a straw later as I have split today so I have basically a 3 hour lunch. Picnic with family.

Thanks Red. It's one of my top favorites.

Thanks Mike. Good to see you getting back under the felt again.

Still one of my all time favorite color combos. Great looking hat.

Back under the Palmoro for an afternoon bike ride.

Got home about 5 minutes before the rains came.

That's good timing (or did you speed up?). The weather over there seems to be in between felt and straw, Michael. Nice to have options.

Ok...so i slept till 4p. I’ve come to the conclusion that $135 worth of Chinese food has several added benefits. First, it must have a narcotic sleep agent in it. Second, it keeps abusive hat comments in check. Prob busy chewing. Lastly, it makes me happy to see my kids pigout again!! Ha
The Nutria was a “hit”, lol, till they Googled Nutria. Down hill from there. Ha
Today it’s my tissuey Mocha Borsa. A fine example of a hat.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: extra pic of the Doc and Willow the head butt queen!
Cool pics, cool story and cool(est) hat, Bowen. Funny how the nutria would get the sympathy. They're considered a pest and are not exactly cuddly animals. Way better in their hat-shape:D

No hats yesterday (went cycling and didn't go out after that). So two hat day today.

Been digging through my hats to look for candidates to let go (found plenty of them). Upside is that you encounter hats that don't get enough head-time but still need to be in the collection. This one for instance.

My better half and I are very glad to be home after a wonderful Vacay. No new hat purchases while away. While on the ship and around the ports I was wearing my "travel" lids (straw Cabo palm and gray Borso)....but nothing beats sitting on your balcony and feeling those cool ocean breezes. ;) Stay well everyone.

It is good to be home with your hats again. It is awful hard not to be waited on constantly, that takes a little getting used to. Your images turned out great, fine hats make these cruise shots worth purchasing.

I lucked out. It's mostly been rain hat weather here. I think we must be up to 7 or 8" over the last week and some. Great for mushrooms, not so great for hats. Supposed to stay wet too, though on Wednesday we see a drop to nice felt hat temps. I'm guessing the Filson waxed cotton will see some head time today when I'm out on the bike.

Has this thread become incredibly slow to load over the last few days?

Thanks,
Michael

Another damp morning, but it looks like it may clear enough to make a fairly nice day. Stetson 3X

I'm guessing '70s or 80s for this one

Looks like a quality hat, Michael. The ribbon and feathers would put it firmly in the seventies in my view.

It has. I load the lounge on multiple tabs these last few days.
