Nice tall crown on that Marathon. I like the lines and color.
Thanks Red. It's one of my top favorites.

great colour Michael
Thanks Mike. Good to see you getting back under the felt again.

Out for a trip to get some garden supplies in the cool of the morning. Haven't had the Excellent Stetson Stratoliner in Sage out in the sunshine for quite a while. I've kept the original @moontheloon crease ever since it arrived at my door. Kind of a legacy hat in a way. View attachment 133838 View attachment 133839 View attachment 133840 View attachment 133841
Still one of my all time favorite color combos. Great looking hat.

Back under the Palmoro for an afternoon bike ride.

Got home about 5 minutes before the rains came.

Greetings All:
Ok...so i slept till 4p. I’ve come to the conclusion that $135 worth of Chinese food has several added benefits. First, it must have a narcotic sleep agent in it. Second, it keeps abusive hat comments in check. Prob busy chewing. Lastly, it makes me happy to see my kids pigout again!! Ha
The Nutria was a “hit”, lol, till they Googled Nutria. Down hill from there. Ha
Today it’s my tissuey Mocha Borsa. A fine example of a hat.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: extra pic of the Doc and Willow the head butt queen!

Wow, Bowen! Congratulations! Your daughter is beautiful, smart, and magnificently educated!
You must have some great-working genes in you to have those descendants.
Felicidades.

Two great looking ladies! If you ever see a nutria in real life, you might be put off a bit, literally a BIG RAT. They sure make nice felt though...

That’s exactly what I’m looking for.
If you see one flying around please let me know.
Anthony put this one out there a couple of years ago. He went through a pile of them at J.J. Hatter to find a "good" one. Sure like the felt on this modern hat. The "excellent" has been replaced with another fancy word I think.

Thanks Bowen. It is my only one and I feel that it makes me have to dress for the hat. Green or brown outfits to match. Today I just wore it, damn the color matchy-matchy...

I like everything about this creation Bill. The straight crown, ribbon and those cool vents. Looking super sharp!

Very impressive Edward, I would love to see more of your collection. That B-2 cap is really something special. What do the insides look like? Tags?

That is one "large and in charge" Homburg Steve. It really makes a statement. Such a wonderful piece of German hat making history. It is up there in my all time favorites.
