Glad to see you're getting them out of the kennel, Bob! They look wonderful on you.

Crisp morning in the Southland...

So of course the Pilgrim got it's first call for duty. I kept wondering about how the brim seemed wider than my Stratoliner & when I looked even closer, I noticed how the sweat comes out on to the brim bottom side some. It is not like my Strat, so I flipped it over & measured top side. The brim is 2 3/4" & not 2 5/8"! It measures 2 5/8" from edge of sweat but from crown to brim edge is 1/8" wider. My bad!

Doesn't alter the fact that it looks fantastic on you!

Very chilly morning with snow flurries in the forecast. Good day for nice thick soft felt.

(I've already had employees calling in because of the forecast of snow flurries!)

A combination I have not tried before - my VS Tucker with my English green and orange shooting jacket...
A good casual friday look, I hope.

Never mind. Before 2010 is over, I'll have SEVEN of them! :D :D

I wish you the best success on your 2010 project. They can't all come to my house, so I'd like to see them go to someone who appreciates them and loves them as much as I do.

Whippets

I'm also a huge Whippet fan, but since I wear a 7 3/4 long oval, they are few and far between for me. I remedied this by having Art make one for me, should be coming in a few weeks. Maybe that will cure the sting of being too bigheaded for most vintage finds. Frank

As for me, I decided it would be better not to refuse Don Rusty offer, and wear a thin ribbon - and not a bad one at that, a Stetson Stratoliner:

You know, I realized it was better to express the Godfather some respect- I did not want to find one of these on my bed...
