Too cool Bob. Great hat.

Suffice it to say, WOW. What a great color and finish.

Looking spiffy Red. Love the '50s tie too.

Michael
Thanks Matt! The band was hand woven from wool by a little old lady that worked for Texas Hatters. BTW -- your fuzzy green Dobbs knocked my socks off (and that can be painful when wearing cowboy boots).

Thanks Perry -- you already know I loved your hat today. Awesome beaded band and feather!

Thanks Michael. Stunning outfit from today! On your "A" game.

You should do it Jeff! I've really enjoyed all your big westerns this week.

Thanks Bob. If I can't catch up to you in O'Farrells I can try with Texas Hatters. :D
Thanks Jeff, Michael and Bob.
Echter Borsalino "Gatesan" probably 1940s.

My Akubras love rain; two of them have been soaked through a couple of times with no ill effects. And while they're wet, it's a good opportunity to refine or change the crease and/or shape of the brim if you want to. As long as you set them aside and allow them to dry on their own at room temperature they'll be just fine. You're right--the primary function of a hat is to protect you from the elements, not the other way around; any hat that can't do that is a hat I have no use for.

Thanks, Zombie_61. That's very helpful. And soothing. :)

A little late today. Oregon rain has returned for a few days. The Bone Lord's Hat was calling my name this morning. Paired with a 1950s tie. Wish I could find vintage suits in my size (that don't require a 2nd Mortgage).

That’s a stellar hat, Mike. It somehow manages to look modern and vintage at the same time.

Optimo Camel Heirloom felt. I wish I could wear it while working on patients. :)

Well... You can!
They make something for that!

Of course... you will probably end up having a lot fewer patients in pretty short order: "Oh no... you don't want to go him. He's not quite right."

Great looking hat.
