Hello all. My first post here. My first hat. If I had gone to this forum first I may have held off for a vintage fur felt hat however I didn't and ended up with a wool felt pork pie. I will learn to learn more about old vintage hats from a time when decorum still existed.

The Marathon is one of my favorites Michael. Interesting liner on that fuzzy green stingy, cool hat.

Thanks Red. The treatment seems to be helping, but there is damage done.

I had passed on the Panizza when it was at the vintage store, due to the mothing and small brim. But I guess I wasn't wearing a Loden coat that day. Ha ha. Looks like they are from the dame dye lot. And since the Loden coat is the Germanic version of a hunting coat I guess it is a proper pairing on that front as well.

Multi hat day here. Had to run to the grocery for some dinner ingredients and decided to wear the blue Marathon as the Wormser is having a sweatband spa session.

A relative lull in the snowstorm had me clearing out snow in a vtg. Beaver Hats fedora.

Lull over and the wind and blowing snow have me making a face trying to grab a pic of my cap that I will wear thru this evening. Truly the lake is somewhere in the background.
