Temperature dropped 15 degrees in an hour this morning.

This afternoon's 30 something degrees and high northerly winds led me to call on the 1910s Knox derby for a great top down galavant around with my son. One of our stops was on the shores of Back Bay near Knotts Island.

Another stop was an antique store where I found this nifty Italian number. It is a hat, not a lamp shade. Even got pics of the boy trying it on, but promised that I wouldn't post them. He has more self respect than I do.

Have fun.

Nice derby, but that not-a-lampshade is just YOU, man!

That hat looks all warm and fuzzy, but in single digits, tough. Love that Filson. I want one.

Stetson does have its mysteries, what ever the name, this one is beautiful.

Outstanding Borsolino, large and in charge!

Nice Akubra. It holds up well in the elements. Beard is really getting impressive. Wish I could grow one.

Thanks, Red! Those Akubras are good foul weather hats.

Haven't commented on every hat, even though all were great and deserving. O well. I think this was thursday, but it was a bit busy this week. Barbisio ratiné. Wool felt, but a great little hat just the same.

Love the bowler, Matt. The lampshade hat I'm less sure about [emoji16]

Beeutiful derby, Matt. You wear it with such ease. The other one is not your colour I think.
