SAME!Just to be clear, I gave you a "like" for the hat, not the shingles. All positive thoughts that you'll recover quickly.
That is a stunning long hair Stefan. Love the creamy tone with the black ribbon. Gang busters coat as well.
The brim and ribbon really make this one stand out. Great looking hat, especially in black.
Hey folks!
Despite what Fruno may say, no baby seals were harmed in the making of this 50's Tonak Seal Velour.
Now, I won't even try to claim that no European Hares were harmed...
Have a great day!

This is the hat I wish I was wearing today...But I must have been naughty this year, because the gift I got for Christmas was The shingles.Spend Christmas day and night in the hospital, first ever.I have it on my head my face and right eye.The bad part is I can not put on a hat it hurts my head.I now have to leave the house feeling naked.Hope everyone else is doing better than me.
Love the Campdraft in BGG. Just received my Silverbelly today.Visiting with the kids home for the holidays in my Campdraft in Bluegrass Green

It will take some getting used to but it works for you. Nice 6XT Jones made the suggestion that rather than converting (or making crude attempts at converting) all the western hats I've been buying to fedoras, I should try wearing some of them as westerns. I know, novel idea.
First attempt is a 6X Stetson that I took some of the curl out of the brim:
This is all new to me.

Question on creasing. Paperwork from Hatsdirect said to bash sides first than crown. I've never done it that way, always done the crown first. Any opinions, is one way easier than the other?

I always start with a center dent in the crown first. I put the hat on, then put a toothpick behind the ribbon, right in front, in line with my nose. That helps me to get the center dent straight.View attachment 99952 View attachment 99951 Just received my Silverbelly Campdraft
