Have a great Sunday
Michael
That's a great hat, I like the way the center dent dips down in front, and the perfect brim. Great boots too, love the red stitching.A repeat for this Saturday as I continue to break in this No. 1 quality Stetson to my head.

Matt, thank you.Damn man!!! Those are a couple of fantastic hats.
Very nice sports coat and Ascott with that Dobbs, Bjorn. What color is the hat? It appears to be maroon on my computer.Another Sunday. Another dog walk before church. Very windy so the Dobbs stingy won out. Have a lovely day, gents.
I don't know if I would go quite that far. Mostly because I would be dead after the first mile.I'd run 26.2 miles for a hat like that.
And the coat... the appropriate words cannot be spoken in polite company.
Nice color and crease, the color coordination is right on. You do gray well!Deluxe Quality "Moonstone" Akubra Federation IV. View attachment 94297 View attachment 94298 View attachment 94299
You two look great!
Thanks, Michael. I love your Marathon. A real stunner!Love that Champ Doug. A real winner there.

Very unique. I love it!Good evening. This afternoon I was completing some chores in a vtg. Adam.
The nearly 3 inch brim protected me from the blowing leaves and dust being thrown up from cleaning the corners of the yard.
Unique edge treatment.
Best, Eric -
Nice lines for a modern Homburg. Sharp look.Great hats today.

This is a stunning Adam for sure. The brim treatment and the rusty brown color make this one of my favorites. Great one Eric.Good evening. This afternoon I was completing some chores in a vtg. Adam.

Thaks, Red. I am quite pleased it. Its comfortable and appears to be well made. I'll definitely wear it often this season.Nice lines for a modern Homburg. Sharp look.
Very impressive! Beautiful lines.Last 3 days Whippet.
Super Sleuth Matt! Finding an ad for this unique hat is epic! One of my all time favorites on the Lounge.Happy Sunday. I'm under another Adam today as I head off to mass under THE POLAR.
Ever since I have had this hat, I have been trying to find an ad for it to nail down its birthday. In the '30s and '40s Adam would sell a Hat of the Month. Each was given a name.
After years of searching, I think I finally found an ad for this one. I could find only one Hat of the Month ad offering a heathered felt hat. It was in November 1942. THE POLAR is not named but the ad mentions several color options. I suspect that THE POLAR was the green offering. I attach the ad.
Have a swell day.
Sharp Jacket Bjorn! The Dobbs is great with it. Nice pinch.Another Sunday. Another dog walk before church. Very windy so the Dobbs stingy won out. Have a lovely day, gents.
Knock out Knox Bill! What color is that ribbon? It seems to change in every pic.Vintage Knox Twenty this morning.

Super finds, pity the hat pickings were not stellar. I am posting a question in a while about a weird Strat box I found on Ebay, the bottom one looks similar.hat hunting in a Stratoliner
they had probably 40 hats... but nothing I thought worth buying unfortunately
But I did score some great boxes

Love the back belt and those prominent pockets. The color is money! What a find! Thanks Stefan.
A couple of gorgeous hats. It would be a tough choice, but I think you made the right one.
Don't grow up, it's overrated.
Thanks Bob. I think there was a period in the late '30s and early 40s when color was thought of as a good thing in an overcoat.
Thanks D. The coat is a Kuppenheimer and the fabric is one they called Valgora. It's a blend of alpaca, baby mohair and wool. The union tag has a 1939 date so it was made between then and 1949. I suspect pre-war. It's a relatively loosely cut half belt.

Justin, you are the vintage maven! The lines are so Roaring 20s, gangster (not to be confused with "gangsta", stupid use of the word), and that sweat!! They really knew how to make them back then.wonderful hats today friends
20s stetson on this beautifully cool day (hat is black, just looks blue from the camera)
I really love the color on that Strat Samuel. It would be such a versatile color. Cooool.Steston Stratoliner in Dixie-blue and going with the denim workman look today.

Great image of some happy people, makes me happy too.
That Huckel has such great lines and color. Is the liner fancy too, seems like they really make the innards as nice as the outsides.Hey all!
Hückel Weilheim up top this late afternoon.
Have a great day!

Lookin sharp Red!Really late to the part today. Maybe someone will see it in the morning. Doing Deacon duties at church this morning, gave me a chance to dress a little less schlub like. Navy Gannon got some crease tweaking and a much needed brush. Do love this hat, I don't need to "dress" for it, should bring it out more often.
