A very timely color name during the early war years. Any idea of other patriotic name colors from then. Oh, and as usual, words cannot express the wonderfulness of this lid.early 1940s Stetson Vita Felt Medalist Eagle in Freedom Blue ... that was a mouthful ... on an absolutely lovely day

Ahh, now I know where all the heat went from Ohio.I'm at a McDonald's up by PDX (airport) killing time and taking advantage of their wi-fi until MrsFed's plane comes in from Dallas. Tough 2 weeks for her. I did my best to clean the house!
File photo of the parabuntal. Six days of 90+ temps here. Very warm year for western Oregon.

nice, is that a back bow or....?
So smooth and "Beavery" looking Steve. That ribbon treatment is almost like a puggaree, very stylish. Love that color.
A super looking hat Perry, the finish looks really smooth.
I always enjoy this Panizza, classic look Karl.
Wow Bob, bringing out the big guns today. Impressive.
Back bows rule Michael! That color and finish are a real treat to see. I need one of these green German pieces.
Thanks guys. I guess I forgot to post on the Hut Spanke responses yesterday.Perry, any more photos? i like that the one a ton. the brim swoop just suits your smiling personality, killer choice

Thanks Red. I'm unaccountably attracted to disheveled long hair hats.Today is a Fuzzy Friday with you and Eric sporting these wonderful finishes.
Bummer of a way to start the day. I hope it cleaned up with no injuries or further damage. The SLS is looking good as a work hat.First thing this morning there was a catastrophe in the Redfokker kitchen! I was in the other end of the house when I heard crashing and Mrs.Red screaming a string of profane expletives. A shelf in the kitchen gave way and spilled all of the cereal bowls and small plates crashing to the floor. Shards of glass everywhere! Not the way to start my day!
Off to Home Depot to replace all of the shelf brackets with new metal ones. Grabbed my go-to work hat, the SLS 2" brim.

Thanks Justin. And the Crofut and Knapp is fantastic. Almost the lines of a homburg with the big overwelt taking the place of the big edge binding. Too cool.Michael, furry and awesome, love it

1920s Crofut & Knapp. Haven't worn this one in a long time, figure its time to bring it out.

never tire of this one ... hat envy
Great amount of shade from this sweetie. We are expecting 100 tomorrow, same high pressure cell that is hitting you. If I even leave the house, a coat of white latex paint will all that will shield me.Hey all!
This Pantropic Panama on what's shaping up to be a very hot weekend across NorCal.
Plus a slathering of SPF 50, of course!
Stay cool, all, and
Have a great day!

Glad to hear Sandra is coming home. She needs to get back to normal with your support. She should be happy to see the Straw in the crowd.I'm at a McDonald's up by PDX (airport) killing time and taking advantage of their wi-fi until MrsFed's plane comes in from Dallas.
