The Whippet has landed! Waiting for FedEx so I could sign for the delivery was brutal. The Excellent Whippet "JP" is going to be a keeper. A couple of issues on a cursory examination, but nothing that is a deal breaker. The factory crease looks good with the higher crown, but I am contemplating a diamond. The logo on these has the stars field in the upper left again, gone is the maple leaf ??!?!? More pics elsewhere when I catch some more time. The kitchen clean up is progressing, not a danger zone from broken bowls anymore.

Hard to believe they're the same hat. If I didn't own one myself and know first-hand about how drastically Akubra's Taupe Fawn can change colors in photos depending on the lighting, I'd probably think you had made a mistake. It looks right at home on your head Micheal, like it was made just for you.

Yes it still have the feather and the brim is somewhere between 3.5" and 4".
